What is spray booth protection film?
Spray booth protection film is a multi-layer, self-adhesive film designed to cover the walls, ceilings, and floors of paint spray booths. It traps dust, overspray, and contaminants — keeping your booth clean and your paint finishes flawless. When a layer gets dirty, you simply peel it off to reveal a fresh layer underneath.
How does Dust Free Film work?
Our patented film features a slightly tacky, statically charged surface that acts like a dust magnet. It captures airborne particles and overspray before they can contaminate your paint job. The multi-layer design (up to 5 layers per roll) means you can peel off a used layer every ~250 spray cycles or every 3 months, revealing a fresh surface — no reinstallation needed.
How long does each roll last?
A standard 5-layer roll provides 9–12 months of protection. Each layer lasts approximately 3 months or 250 spray cycles, depending on usage intensity. Our embedded measuring tape lets you track remaining length at all times.
Is the film difficult to install?
Not at all. Our patented dispenser box design allows installation 50% faster than traditional booth protection methods. The film is self-adhesive with overlapping sheets — no tape required. One person can install a full booth in under an hour.
Does the film leave residue when removed?
No. Our innovative acrylic-based adhesive is specifically designed to leave zero residue on booth surfaces upon removal. Your walls and floors stay clean.
What temperature can the film withstand?
Our film is temperature-resistant up to 80°C (176°F), with a melting point of 120°C (248°F). This makes it suitable for use in bake cycle booths. The insulating properties can actually help reduce your bake time.
What sizes are available?
Our wall protector rolls are 0.77m wide × 80m long, covering approximately 60m² per roll. Floor protector rolls are 0.77m wide × 60m long. Both are available in 1-layer, 4-layer, and 5-layer configurations, and in white or transparent options.
Can I use it on booth ceilings too?
Yes! The self-adhesive properties and lightweight design make it suitable for walls, ceilings, and light fixtures. The static charge helps the film stay in place even on overhead surfaces.
How does this compare to booth coatings or peelable paint?
Unlike liquid coatings that require drying time and can be messy to apply, our film installs instantly and peels cleanly. There's no downtime waiting for coatings to dry, no brush marks, and no risk of coating contamination. Film also provides more consistent protection across the entire surface.
